April 5, 2026, “coincidentally” falls on the Qingming Festival. For the sense of ritual, I chose this day to officially publish my first blog post.
As you can see, this year is 2026, and perhaps programmers have been hit the hardest. Most internet companies have conducted abnormally large-scale layoffs. Java developers and front-end engineers are facing unprecedented challenges in finding jobs. Low-end programmers may have already been replaced by AI. AI has also become an indispensable part of daily life—perhaps most questions can be answered by asking AI. Maybe the era of searching for blogs to solve problems based on specific queries is over. So, is it still necessary to write blogs? Even if I write a blog, my only readers might be AI.
But think about it: this is all just a way to hold myself accountable, to ensure I post something every day—which means I learn something new each day. From that perspective, it’s still worthwhile.
